Job Description
Salary: BDT 60,000
Location: Banani, Dhaka
Key Responsibilities:
Tax & VAT Management
Oversee preparation, review, and submission of VAT and tax returns.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines.
Provide guidance on tax planning and risk management strategies.
RGCS & Compliance
Manage all regulatory filings and government compliance tasks.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on implications.
Financial Oversight
Supervise accounting operations related to VAT and tax.
Ensure accuracy in financial statements and reporting.
Support budgeting and forecasting with tax impact analysis.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor the accounts team in tax and compliance matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Drive process improvements and automation in compliance reporting.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA preferred).
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in taxation, VAT, and compliance management.
Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
